Information

• Novice (Boys & Girls, ages 6 & 7 yrs.)
  Objective is to introduce the children to the sport.  Basic skills (kicking, dribbling, passing, control and shooting) are taught through fun drills and non-competitive games.  The children use #3 size balls and play on a down-sized field.  The primary emphasis is fun.
  
• Intramural (Boys & Girls, ages 5 to 10 yrs.)
  Objective is to further develop the basic skill levels introduced in the early age group.  Individual skills are stressed with an introduction to team positional play. The season is divided into two halves.  In the first half, all games are instructional. The second half is competitive with a winner selected.  The children use a #4 size ball and play on a regulation size field.
  
• Traveling (Boys & Girls, ages 11 thru Adult)
  Objective is to field a fully competitive team in each age group for league play.  All teams are rostered on a try-out basis, with only the most qualified players selected.  Inter-County Soccer League (ICSL) is the current parent league for most Roslyn Boys & Girls Club teams.  Players in this program will be required to travel to game sites outside the immediate Roslyn area.  Presently, Roslyn Boys & Girls Club will sponsor a team based on the number of sign-ups within the age group.  Teams are registered in the A, B, or C Division, depending on the overall skill level of the team in that age bracket.

Located Between Johnston Ave. and Maple Ave. on Susquehanna Road

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike
Get off at Exit #27, go south on Easton Road (Route 611) toward Abington.  At Fitzwatertown Road (Dunkin Donuts and Stereo Store on Corners) make a right.  Follow Fitzwatertown Road through 3 Traffic lights.  At the fourth (4) light, which is Susquehanna Road, take a left.  Follow Susquehanna Road past the traffic light at Maple Ave. and continue until you see the small green sign that says Roslyn Soccer Field with an arrow pointing to the left. If you see Roslyn School you have gone too far.  Take a left at the small green sign and the field is in front of you.

From Philadelphia
Take Old York Road (Route 611) through Jenkintown into Abington.  About a quarter mile after you pass the Hechinger's store on your right, take a left onto Susquehanna Road (YMCA and small cemetery on Right, a church on left).  Follow Susquehanna Road across Easton Road (at the railroad tracks) past the Wawa with the Hillside Cemetery on your left). Continue past the Roslyn School until you see the small green sign that says Roslyn Soccer Field with an arrow pointing to the right. If you get to the traffic light.

Located at Hall Ave. and Anzac Ave., Roslyn, Pa., 19001

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike

From Philadelphia
