Free Ice Cream Sundaes
Free Pictures with Santa
Doors open at 6 PM for ice cream sundaes and cookies as we await the arrival of Santa Claus on Rudolf the Red Roslyn Fire Company Fire Truck.

Kids of all ages can get in their present requests and have their picture taken with Santa. Parents, feel free to bring your cameras for pictures.

Bring your kids out to this completely free annual tradition.

Old Shoe Soccer Game (Thursday, November 22, 2018, 9:00)

old-soccer-cleats Before you feast, come out on Thanksgiving to our “Old Shoe” Soccer Game. Coaches will play against current team members 14-years-old. Following the game, the Service to Youth award will be presented at 10:30. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and doughnuts will be available in the clubhouse.

Roslyn Travel Baseball Tryouts October 14 and 21

Roslyn’s spring travel baseball teams are having tryouts this fall at Roslyn Park. Players must attend at least one tryout to be eligible to make the team, and parents/guardians will need to sign a participation waiver at the tryouts (view the waiver here). A player’s age-bracket is determined by his age on 5/1/19.

Schedule: October 14 and 21

10-U (Suburban B-division) – 9:00 a.m.
11-U (Suburban B-division) – 10:00 a.m.
12-U (Suburban A-division) – 11:00 a.m.

Basketball Registration Open

Registration for Roslyn basketball is now open. Sign-up today: click here Registration closes December 31, 2018, at midnight.

Grades 1-2 (co-ed): $95
Grades 3-4 (co-ed): $100
Grades 5-6 (co-ed): $100

Boys in grades 5 and 6 can also tryout for Roslyn’s travel basketball teams. (Registration for travel basketball opens October 22.)

Grade 5: $180 – October 17 and 18, 6:30-8:00 pm, Overlook Elementary School (must attend at least one practice)
Grade 6: $180 – October 17 and 18, 8:00-9:30 pm, Overlook Elementary School (must attend at least one practice)

5th and 6th grade boys who would like to play travel AND in-house basketball receive a 50% discount on the in-house rate! (Registration for travel PLUS in-house opens October 22.)

80’s Social Success

Thanks to everyone who came out and made our 80’s Social such an awesome event. The team raised $2,000 for their journey to Cooperstown! And, thanks to Art Armani for donating the photo booth. Club Receives Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grant

Thank you to Encompass Volunteer Dave Robbins for being a positive force for change in our community. Encompass Volunteer Dave Robbins enabled us to receive an Allstate Foundation Helping Hands grant. The Allstate Foundation supports the causes that agents and employees care about most by providing grants to nonprofits where they volunteer their time to bring out the good in their communities.

TIBC Registration Now Open

Register online for TIBC (Total Instructional Baseball Camp)! Location: Roslyn Park. Ages: 7-16. Camp: June 27-July 1, 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Hitting Camp: July 6-8, 9-11:30 a.m. We are using Dick’s Team Sports HQ, a secure site powered by Blue Sombrero.
